Unable to see my Google Nest Camera in Apple TV

Hi,

The reason I purchase Google Nest Cameras was because Nest app made it sound like I will be able to see all my Google Nest cameras and it also works on Apple TV. However, now I am running into 2 issues.

1. Since I have long ago migrated my nest account to google account - I am unable to view google cameras on my nest app.

2. This means, the nest app on Apple TV is useless.

This also means, I am unable to see my cameras on my big screen TV using an APP on Apple TV. This feels like bait and switch. (While I love the other features, this is a huge let down). Could you kindly let me know:

1. When will a Google Home App be available for Apple TV?

I am having the same issue but get this, its with a Sony Bravia TV that came preloaded with google TV, but when I go to the nest home app the login in screen is the old version and does not give the option to log in via google but also doesn't recognize the previous nest log in I used before migrating. Super annoying I mean the whole TV is operating under my google account but it doesn't recognize that I have a nest account and would like it to appear there. Make it make sense google...

@vijayvnair987 thanks for reaching out. I understand your concern about the features that are not available from the Google Home app. New versions of Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells can only be set up and controlled through the Google Home App. We don't have any news to share about when the Google Home app will be available for Apple TV. I'd suggest you send feedback using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about this. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. In the meantime, you may try using your web browser from your Apple TV and go to home.google.com and sign in to your same email address to view your new Nest Cameras. Let me know how it goes.

@md23 we appreciate you giving us the steps you've done. I'd like to ask some questions: have you migrated your account to Google? If possible, could you send us the screenshot of the login page that doesn't give you the option to enter or select your Google account? Keep us posted.

1. I have send a feedback to Google Engineering team.

2. I couldn't find compatible browser for apple tv that can be natively installed. Do you have any recommendations?
