How do I get my doorbell sound to the nest?

Ok so I got my doorbell all connected and working but the sound is coming from the doorbell it self and not playing on the nest… how do I get the chime to play on the nest and not on the doorbell it self?

If, by "the nest" you mean a Nest Mini or Nest Hub, then you have to turn on "Visitor announcements" for your doorbell; your doorbell and Nest Hub or Nest Mini need to be in the same Google Nest "home/structure":

You can't turn off the sound on the doorbell itself.
