Nest Hello wired

I have a working installation on video and wifi. However the indoor chime does not work. (I tried all different settings and measures 12V at the right places, but when pushing the button there is not 12V from the output of the chime connector wires.) https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247132?hl=en

Is it the chime connector that is broken?

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but I have no idea how your transformer and chime should be wired. What was the wiring diagram with a regular doorbell?

Thank you for writing. The wiring I have used should be correct but the chime connector does not react.

Newest info:
I have measured 12.5V on the input of Nest Hello. The output from Nest Hello to indoor mechanical chime/chime connector measures 1.5V and only 2.6V when the ring button is pressed. Maybe a faulty Nest Hello or/and chime connector?

To confirm, have you tried removing the chime connector and see if your indoor chime would work? Also, do you have the 1st gen or 2nd gen of Nest Doorbell wired? If it's the 2nd gen then you might want to check this link for the required power.

@EmersonB Thanks for answering. As for today I have solved the problem on my 1st gen Nest Hello doorbell that should work with 8VA. It did not work with or without chime connector, even if I measured 12V from the 12V-0.8A transformer to Nest Hello and only 1.5-2.6V out from the unit.
I suspected that there was not enough "juice/vA" from the transformer and changed it to a new with several power possibilities.

It works perfectly as it should with indoor unit, video, wifi and announcements 🙂
