Where can I buy a replacement magnet for mounting an outdoor nest cam since I lost one for one of my camera’s?

My painter lost mine. I have spent a month trying to solve this. The short answer is, you can't.

Third party options still use the magnet mount so they won't work. Google won't sell or send a replacement mount.

If your camera happens to still be under warranty they may offer you a replacement otherwise the Google advice is to throw the camera away and buy a new one.

Ahh, ok. If I replace the camera I will go with another brand due to lack of support for this piece of equipment.

Brad I am in the same boat. Nest cameras, doorbells at two houses but I lost the magnetic mount for one camera. Bought several so packs on Amazon. Can you asssit?

How can I purchase a new magnet? Most expensive camera and seems like the only answer I am given is to buy new camera? This seems silly as I'm am paying for a nest aware subscription.

I ended up cutting a green bean can in half, filing the edge, drilling screws in the bottom, and mounting on piece of wood. Works fine, no thanks to Nest or Google.

I'm in the same boat too I need 2 magnetics I've got 4 cameras and I guess somebody stowed my magnets and lift my camera's hanging I guess we know now the magnets are worth more than the cameras please help

So I talked with support today, since I have been a customer for years my cameras are out of warranty so they can’t send me a magnet. Also for being a good customer they will not sell me a magnet. 👎👎. I guess it’s green bean can time. Can you post a pic of the camera in the finished green bean can and the inside of the can without the camera?

This is completely insane !!!! I too am looking to PURCHASE a magnet and they won't. Not that they can't it's they won't do it! This is complete manipulation. I am done with nest this is so stupid. the fact they won't let us buy a new magnet is ridiculous.
