2 step verification

My phone that I used for two step verification was a work phone and I no longer have access to it. I set up a new nest account and put my thermostat on it, but the camera says it’s being used by another account. I know it needs to be removed from the other account, but I can’t log in because I don’t have that phone number. How do I either access the old count to remove the camera, or reset the camera somehow so I can use it?

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, but I wanted to make sure that your issue was addressed.

Do you still need help with this issue? I know that there's been a delay in response since you posted.
What other troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?
I would suggest doing a Factory Reset on your camera so that you can set it up to the email of your choice.
