Nest Outdoor Cam does not turn back on after power failure

Hi,

I have 3 nest cam and when they there is power failure, only one turn back on. I need to take the wire out and in again so they can start again.

I believe it is an important fault as it is easy for any burglar to take advantage of that.

I will need to replace all my cameras with a different brand and would recommend to anyone to not buy any Nest devices until this issue is addressed (It's been highlighted by all users and never been addressed).

This is an old problem; it often happens with two of our Google Nest Outdoor Cameras, where, after a power outage we have to unplug them and plug them back in again to get them to come back online. It's a real nuisance for customers that have cameras at a remote location. Interestingly, when our electric meter was recently replaced, with an outage that lasted only a few seconds, our two misbehaving cameras did NOT fail to come back online.
