Nest hub doesn't react to Nest doorbell (battery)

Connection to phone works fine, google home does react but the Nest hub just doesn't respond at all.

Do you have the "Visitor announcements" option turned on in your settings for your doorbell?

Yes, thanks. That was it!
Must hhave turned itself off when I had to re-pair the doorbell due to WiFi changes
