protective wire sheathing has flaked off..

The protective wire sheathing on the camera has cracked and broken and flaked off exposing the wires inside, causing it to short out so that the camera is working intermittently

Am willing to send in for repair, or provide an exchange for the new “battery” operated camera , so that no wires are exposed to rot
