Push notifications stopped

Push notifications, not working for my nest doorbell. I deleted the doorbell device and added it all over again. Checked all notification settings. Doorbell will ring, but still no notifications.

When this happened on my iPhone about a year ago with our Nest Hello Doorbells, I was able to fix it by deleting and reinstalling the Google Nest app.

I would definitely do what MplsCustomer says. Also, some people have reported that completely power OFF the phone for about 2-3 minutes and then powering it back up it can fix the problem. The reason has something to do with how the phone re-registers itself with the cell site.
