Nest Doorbell Wired Gen2 Won’t Secure

I am having trouble getting the hex screw to catch so that the doorbell is secured. This is the second one I’ve installed on our property. The first one had no issues. The second will not catch. I’ve replaced it and still the alignment is off slightly to where the security hex screw will not catch. Please help.

You might have to resort to contacting Google Nest Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) for a replacement for your doorbell.

Thanks for the response. Apologize, been a little out of pocket. Am I able to upload a previously taken picture? I see where I can insert a picture that I take live (can do later this morning).

Absolutely! You can upload the picture here.

Here's how:

Hit “Reply”.
Click “Insert Photos” (camera icon on the upper left hand side).
Click “Choose Files”.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.
