How to change the Wifi setting on nest camera

I have installed a nest Wifi and mesh and need to reset the Wifi and password on nest camera, outdoor camera and Yale entry door lock and nest doorbell, how do I do this?

Hey there, this was not an easy task. Our first generation nest doorbell did not hook up to the nest aware, so we purchased the second generation nest doorbell that connected fine to the nest aware, but then the doorbell mechanism in the house was giving off a burning, plastic smell, so I pulled it out. I reconnected my first generation doorbell. It still does not connect to the nest aware, so we are going to try the nest doorbell battery instead of hardwired option. Would love to know your suggestions and recommendations. Thank you.

A Nest Aware subscription applies to all cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account on the same Wi-Fi network, unless it's a 1st Gen Nest Aware subscription, which applies to specific cameras and doorbells. Se the Help topic below for details:

Hi JT, thank you for following up.

The Nest wifi mesh and Nest home devices are all set, except the Nest doorbell camera.

The doorbell connects to the doorbell chime, at first as the blue light on the bell comes on, but it does not connect to the nest aware device and eventually the blue light goes away, and the only light is the green "power" light at the top of the device.

Since the Nest 2nd generation device caused a burnt wire smell, should we just have the chime replaced with a current one? I ask as we are having electrical work being done and can easily have this done.

Is there a house doorbell chime that you recommend we go with?

Hey there,

Oh no! If there's still a burning smell off of your chime box, please unplug your doorbell from the power outlet and stop using it for your safety. Let’s further investigate this — could you fill out this form and let me know once you’re done? Moreover, the suggested transformer power voltage for the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) is 16-24 V AC, 30 VA.
