Nest Doorbell Long Delay

Has anyone had an actual fix for the delay Nest Doorbell Battery has when rung?

I have done everything suggested and it doesn't work. A 10 second delay is ridiculous and means the doorbell isn't really a doorbell.

Am pretty annoyed Google has not even bothered to try and fix this

I know it’s been a while, and I’m sorry to hear about the situation.

A few questions: Is the Nest device online? Is the issue happening on push notifications, or both email and push? And are the notifications delayed on multiple mobile devices?
