Setting doorbell when on vacation

Going on vacation soon. I usually have notifications on for everyday. When on vacation I don’t want to keep looking at phone when notifications comes on. The issue I have is I can turn notifications off but doesn’t that defeat the purpose? What does everyone else do when you go on vacation? Thank you

I'm not sure what you are asking for. Either notifications are ON or they are OFF.

I guess you can close this topic down. What I thought there was some kind of routine google had for vacation. Just got a sarcastic answer. Guess question wasn’t worth the time. So no it wasn’t a success.
