How to download Nest cam footage from Google Takeout?

Hello,

As I understand it, you can use Google Takeout to download Nest cam video footage. I tried to do this by going to Takeout then did the following:

Selected “Nest” checkbox only
Went to Advanced Settings for Nest and selected “All Video”
Clicked Next
Chose to export data only one time
After downloading my export, I unzipped it and looked through all the folders. There are no mp4 files. Google Takeout specifically lists .mp4 as one of the formats available for export, so I’m not sure why I’m not seeing any Nest cam footage available in my unzipped data?

I am not quite adept at Google Takeout, but have you tried to use the web browser to try and save those clips? You can find the website here.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately the website only allows my to save clips of activity, and I need the uninterrupted download of the day for time between 6 am and 11 pm.
