      <title>Nest Camera Gaps. Need Help!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been dealing with this issue for months and have tried several suggestions but I can't seem to find a solution. I'm beginning to wonder if my NEST camera is faulty or the camera itself intentionally turns itself off randomly so that I am encouraged to purchase the Nest Aware Plus subscription (I have a Nest Aware subscription). My event history has long and frequent gaps in the recording. I've attached an image of my recording history over the last 3-4 hours.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="nest camera gaps.PNG" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1472iED3E128B41F6E42A/image-size/large/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="nest camera gaps.PNG" alt="nest camera gaps.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The messages displayed in the "off" (light coloured) times are different. Sometimes it says its disconnected and that I should check the wifi, other times it says its not available.&amp;nbsp; During these times, the green light on the device is off. I have tried:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Turning Home Away Assist off (The above image is an example of Home Away Assist off)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Doing a factory reset. (I have done at least five factory resets on this device over the last weeks. The outages continue)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Moving the wireless router closer&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please suggest other things I can do, without having to purchase anything else, otherwise I will have to throw this camera away and end my nest aware subscription. The camera was not available for the last porch package stealing incident we had.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Has this occurred from the beginning? Do you have the ability to try a different router? I’ve had equipment that didn’t like my router before. WiFi can be tricky.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
