Does anyone know if I can buy just a new cable/cord? The camera works fine but the cord is disintegrated

That doesn’t seem normal. How old is the cable? Is it subjected to any extreme conditions?

Nope. Just in the sun on our house. About 4 years old. I saw others post the same issue

Sometimes a Google Nest Community Specialist steps in on issues like these, but generally it's not covered if it's beyond the 1-year warranty period.

You could try removing the disintegrating sheathing, wrapping each wire in electrical tape, and wrapping the set of wires with duct tape.

Unlike competitors like Arlo and Ring, Google Nest does not sell any spare parts. And with our older Google Nest Outdoor cameras, one end of the cable is hard-wired into the camera, so they'd have to replace the whole camera, and they're not even selling it anymore.

Ouch. Sorry, I didn't notice that. Maybe that's why they made it detachable in the Gen 2 cameras.
