When I tap on a camera to view the volume starts real loud then the volume goes way down ! 2nd generation cameras . Any ideas ? Thank You

Thanks for posting in our Community — let's get this sorted out. A few questions: when did this start to happen? Are you using an iOS or Android device? Does it happen on multiple Nest devices? Also, if you have a family member in the same home structure, does it happen on their devices as well?

Let’s try the troubleshooting steps below:

Check for iOS or Android system updates.
Update the Google Home app from the Play Store or App Store.
Open the Home app.
Touch and hold your device's tile.
Tap Settings.
Select Audio.
Under "Camera volume," drag the slider left or right to decrease or increase the volume of your camera.
