Just migrated from Nest to Google, can't view 24/7 in Home app

I tried to comment on some older threads, but after just migrating from Nest to Google, is it still correct that I need to use two apps to view 24/7 video history? I need to use the older Nest app to view 24/7 on older cameras, and the new app for any new indoor/outdoor battery cameras I install? Seems like a big pain. Has Google shared any plans to integrate the two such that I can manage from a single app?

That is correct as it stands. Google has committed to migrating more products and features from the Nest app to the Google Home app over time.

You are expecting feature parity. It was promised last October to be done “within the next year.”

Everyone is still waiting. For now, I would recommend returning the new nest camera and seeking the older models if you want 24/7 video scrubbing.
