Google Nest Doorbell (wired 1st gen) low power

Hi!

I've connected my doorbell (1st gen) to 24V, 30Watt power supply and it's only showing yellow blinking light around button. This means there is not enough power. I also cannot connect it with Bluetooth.

The connection is without a chime.

Is there any idea what can be wrong? I've tried 12V and 24V transformers with same result.

I don't know the full specs of the power supplies you've tried.

Here are Google Nest's stated requirements:

Google Nest lists this adapter for the battery doorbell and the 1st gen Nest Hello Doorbell, but for some reason it does not list an adapter for the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell:

OhmKat lists this adapter, which it says is compatible with all generations of Google Nest doorbells. We use it for one of our Google Nest Hello Doorbells:

My transformer is even stronger than you mentioned 😕

I'm using 1st gen doorbell.

I've also checked voltage that transformer delivers and is 24V, no issue here.

As I said earlier, I don't know the full specs of the 12V and 24V power supplies you're trying. Both the OhmKat and Google's Ninety7 adapter are designed for and work with Google Nest doorbells, but with your adapters, the doorbell is reporting insufficient power, so perhaps something about your adapters is incompatible.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Have you tried connecting the Nest Hello Doorbell to a mini USB charger or type-C USB cable? Let me know the LED lights on the Nest Doorbell after you connect the charger.
