Nest Cam Battery Mount to metal without the base?

Hello, can I mount the Nest battery camera to a metal balcony without using the supplied base? The reason is I do not want to drill holes in the balcony.

The camera is designed to adhere to the strong magnet in the supplied base. Do you have some other way to fasten it to your balcony? You'll also have to set the "camera mount" setting to other than a Google Nest mount.
