Nest aware plus clarification

Hi,

I'm looking to install multiple nest cameras indoors and utilize nest aware plus for the 10 day 24/7 video monitoring.

I have the following questions regarding the functionality and use of nest aware plus.

Is the 10 day 24/7 video recording able to be split up into more days with less hours? Example 30 days of 8 hour recordings = 240hrs? The same hours recorded as 10 24 hour days.

With our Nest Aware Plus subscription, we have access to 24/7 recordings for the most recent 10 days. There is no feature that would somehow let us divvy up the hours across more than 10 days. The camera is simply recording 24 hours a day, and we have access to the most recent 10 days.

Just get the largest package. It's worth it. Sometimes you don't know you need something until it's too late.

@JamieG1991, thanks for reaching out to the Community. I wanted to follow up to see if you still needed any help. Have you had any chance to see MplsCustomer’s response above? Like MplsCustomer mentioned, the 10-day 24/7 recording can’t be divided across multiple days with fewer hours. All video history is deleted on a rolling basis. This means that, depending on the Nest Aware subscription you have, older saved videos are deleted from the cloud after a certain number of days.
