Nest wireless camera falls off mount

I'm working with a nest camera that has worked fine for a couple years. If late we are getting disconnected notifications and when I go to the camera it is playing on the ground. The magnet feels strong. It's hard to pull the camera off or reposition it. I see many posts in these communities where ppl report the same thing but the response is that it's a poor mounting position. What's going on with this issue?
