Hi, i bought the Wired Nest Doorbell ,few questions?

1-does it work with the Google Home App?

2-can be linked with the Nest Hub 2nd Gen?

3- most importantly, can it open the door, or just get calls and videos?

4- if 3 is negative, is there anyway to link the doorbell to a device to make possible opening the door remotely?

Some answers for you!

If it's the 1st gen model, you'll set it up in the Nest app. Once setup, it will also appear in the Google Home app. If it's the 2nd gen model, you'll set it up in the Google Home app. It will not appear in the Nest app.

If you mean for visitor announcements then yes.

No it cannot open the door, you would need a smart lock to be able to do that.
That's certainly not possible by default. You can now use certain camera events as automation starters, however I'm not sure if you can then use that to open the door, the smart lock would need to support unlocking via an automation compatible through Google Home.
