How make doorbell only play sound not voice

Hi,

I recently bought a Google doorbell, we're very happy with it apart from the very irritating announcement every time it rings!! I'm happy with the chime sound but the 'there is someone at the front door doorbell' announcement is driving us all mad - how can I get rid of it so we dont have to bin it and switch to Ring?!

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not provide us with an option to get just a chime sound without the "Someone's at the Front Door" verbal announcement on our Nest Hubs and Minis, though customers in this forum keep asking for it.

You could try sending "Feedback":

We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send yours with our Send Feedback form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this.
