Can any, Please advise how I can setup the cam notifications and activity (recording) to only be activated when unknown faces are detected and not for any known face already approved in the app.

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not provide that capability, though customers in this forum keep asking for it.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but Google Nest does not seem to disclose future features in advance.

I'd suggest you send yours with our Send Feedback form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern.
