No chime for battery doorbell

I recently bought a new home (well old home that I purchased). I totally missed the fact that the chime was a wall plug in and that the button was bluetooth. No wiring! I had Google Nest wired doorbell on my old home, with the adapter hooked up to the transformer. Worked great.

So now I cannot seem to get a straight answer from anyone on what to do if I do not have an indoor chime wired into the house? I assume that I am going to have to go with the Nest Doorbell Battery version, I am willing to live with having to frequently replace batteries, but still no one can seem to answer the Chime issue. Everyone sends me to a website that ultimately covers hooking up to a wired system.

Can someone from Google please give me a clear answer here?

Just a follow up. I see multiple non-Nest options on Amazon. I am only interested in finding a Google Nest product solution. It worked great for me in the past and that is what I wish to continue with in the future.

You could get a Nest Mini (about $50) and enable "Visitor announcements" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) on your doorbell.

If you have an indoor outlet near your door and are able to drill a hole to feed a wire to your doorbell, you can keep your doorbell charged (except in cold weather) with this adapter from Google Nest:

Or, again if you have an outlet near the door, you can get a 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell (wired) and pwer it with this adapter from OhmKat:

(And OhmKat has a wireless chime that works with their power adapter.)
