LONG time Nest customer. Someone went thur my truck last night. And cam didnt pick up the “event” . With having a subscription I should be able to go back at least 24 hours. The time I need it and doesn’t work. Way to go nest. Shouldn’t somebody be able to go back and check recording from nest?

It depends on which Nest Aware subscription you have, if any, and which camera or doorbell you have. This Google Nest Help topic explains what you get with each:
