Getting notifications when someone is at the door...do I need Nest Aware for this??

Just had the camera set up and all my notification settings look correct but I am not getting any when the doorbell rings. Any ideas? Do you need the Nest aware subscription?

You should not need a Nest Aware subscription for notifications.

Do you have "Push notifications" turned on for your doorbell?

On your iPhone, under Notifications | Google Home, do you have notifications turned on?

The sound you receive is deterred by what you have configured on your iPhone under Settings | Sounds & Haptics | Default Alerts.

If you want a notification on your Nest Hub, do you have "Visitor announcements" enabled for your doorbell (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451)?
