I have Nest spoke alarms that run on the Nest app and now have a (battery) doorbell which I uploaded to the Google Home app. Should I be able to have both on my Nest app?

Hi Lucy,

It's recommended that you use the Nest (battery) doorbell with the Google Home app. I am not sure if the new battery doorbell is fully compatible with the Nest app. I've been using the battery doorbell for a couple days now with the Home app without any issues.

It's only with the Google Home app. The Nest app will only work with older Nest cameras. All the newer ones will only work with Home app.

This is terrible.

Will there be an update to make the new battery cameras viewable on the Nest app?

Not that I know of.however, sometime in 2022 Google will have cameras that supports browser so you can view cameras on PC. No date yet.
