Google Nest Cam question: can we do this:

I have a google Nest (not Max hub) at my home. My m-i-l has a google nest the same as ours. She had surgery and is in a rehab center. I purchased the Google Nest Cam thinking we could put it in her house so we can monitor it for security on either my android phone or my wife's android phone. Our houses are about 10 miles apart.

Whose Nest do we need to link the camera to?

Will we be able to view from our android phones?

The Wi-Fi network at your house and at her house are not the same. A home structure in the app can only have 1 Wi-Fi network, so what you need to do is create a new home structure in the app for her home, if you haven't already, and setup the camera with the Wi-Fi at her home. Once setup, you'll be able to switch between homes, switching to her home to see the live camera feed.
