Hi ENevarez,

Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear the inconvenience you're experiencing with the "device offline due to extreme temperatures" error on one of your Nest Cameras. It seems unusual for this error to occur during normal spring temperatures, especially if the camera has previously withstood hotter temperatures without issues. Here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot the problem:

Ensure that the camera is not exposed to direct sunlight or placed in a location where it receives excessive heat. Direct sunlight can significantly increase the temperature around the camera and potentially trigger the temperature sensor that leads to the error message. Consider repositioning the camera to a shaded area if needed.

Examine the camera for any visible damage or signs of overheating, such as melted components or discoloration. If you notice any physical damage, it's possible that the camera's internal temperature sensor is malfunctioning.

Verify that the camera has a stable Wi-Fi connection. Temporary connectivity issues can sometimes lead to false temperature-related error messages. Ensure that the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi network and that the signal strength is adequate.

Try power cycling the camera by disconnecting and reconnecting the power source. This can help reset any temporary issues and restore connectivity.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

We have 2 Nest cameras outside, one in the front yard and one in the back yard. I am getting a "device offline due to extreme temperatures" on one of them only. It is spring time in Texas with Normal temperatures at the moment, Not to mention, the cameras have been through way worse temperatures during the summer with no issues.
