Notifications not working on Android phone

I have a Nest Doorbell battery version, and for some reason the camera notifications on my Android phone no longer appear. I also have Google Home on my Galaxy tablet and the notifications work fine on there.

I've checked my push notifications are on, everything looks fine settings-wise. I've tried clearing the app cache, restarting my phone too, neither have worked.

Any idea what the issue could be?

I also started experiencing a similar issue roughly 2 weeks ago after notifications historically worked fine.

I managed to fix this issue today by deleting the Google Home app and reinstalling it. Hopefully that works for you too!

I have this problem.

App settings same as partner who still gets push notifications. Notifications turned on in app settings and in Android settings for the Home app. App up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled. Android up to date. Still no push notifications. They were working fine the other day, no settings changed in the meantime.

I have the same issue on my Pixel 6a. All Home app notifications stopped working suddenly 2 days ago after working fine for years. Notifications enabled in Home app for each camera and enabled in phone Settings. No recent config changes made. Cameras are recording events correctly. Doorbell is ringing on Home speakers and Hub. But no notifications are being received on my phone from Home app.

Uninstalled the app AGAIN, seems to be working... For now.
