Need to unbrick a doorbell that I gave to my mom and it was working for a couple years and now is suddenly bricked.

Tried the hard reset and does nothing more than the chime and green light then boot loops.

Do I need to place a ticket with support??

Remove the doorbell from the wall.
Locate the reset hole on the back of the doorbell.
You're going to insert a paperclip and press the back hole, and you'll also press the big doorbell button on the front at the same time for about 10 seconds.
Your doorbell will make a chime, and the LED light will start spinning blue, then yellow. When all the lights turn off, you can release both buttons.
