Nest outdoor cam video history

I have a nest outdoor cam with 2 activity zones. I know something happened just outside of one of those zones lastnight with someone trespassing. Am I still able to retrieve that video even though it didn’t alert within the zone? I have the nest app, tied to the Google home app and I have an aware subscription. Thanks

It depends on exactly which Nest Aware subscription you have. If you have a "Nest Aware" subscription (30 days of event video history), then you only get event video clips for the events detected in your zones). If you have a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription (10 days of 24/7 video history and 60 days of event video history), then you can manually scroll through your full 24/7 timeline to try to find the incident you're looking for, even though it won't show as one of the clips in your event video history.

Thank you for the response. If I add the plus subscription now will it revert back to that feature you described for a short amount of time? Or say if I add the plus now those benefits only start today? Thanks

If you switch to a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription, the 24/7 recording will begin when you purchase or add the new subscription. The only way it could be retroactive is if Google Nest were secretly recording 24/7 without your knowledge or permission, which would be unethical and perhaps illegal, and would also cost them money with having to store the video history without getting paid for it.
