    <description>&lt;P&gt;My outdoor cam battery ran out. I tried to charge the camera and I couldn't get a light/signal that it was charging (plug was in correctly). Things I tried:&lt;BR /&gt;* Cleaning connections&lt;BR /&gt;* Tried multiple outlets&lt;BR /&gt;* Unplug, Plug in, unplug, plug in....&lt;BR /&gt;* Restart and Factory Restart&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I finally got the indicator light to come on and my app said it located a new device. I went through the entire setup process, which included scanning the barcode, renaming, setup, etc. I did have video through the new setup and once everything was complete, I verified it was fully charged.&amp;nbsp; When I removed the charger, the camera light turned off and I lost the signal to the app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I can't get a signal to the app nor can I get a light to come on the camera.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is the camera dead at this point?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/414714"&gt;@gnovak&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We've had a battery camera since Sept. 2021, plugged in with the optional power cable, and it's always "&lt;EM&gt;Live&lt;/EM&gt;" and online.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know how the battery cameras perform over time when they're running on battery power and being charged regularly. You could try contacting Support to determine whether your camera needs a warranty replacement:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Go to &lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "&lt;STRONG&gt;Next&lt;/STRONG&gt;".&lt;BR /&gt;3. Click "&lt;STRONG&gt;Other&lt;/STRONG&gt;", then click "&lt;STRONG&gt;Next step&lt;/STRONG&gt;".&lt;BR /&gt;4. Under "&lt;STRONG&gt;Resources&lt;/STRONG&gt;", just click "&lt;STRONG&gt;Next step&lt;/STRONG&gt;". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)&lt;BR /&gt;5. Under "&lt;STRONG&gt;Contact options&lt;/STRONG&gt;", choose to get a &lt;STRONG&gt;phone call&lt;/STRONG&gt; or &lt;STRONG&gt;chat&lt;/STRONG&gt; with the team, depending on availability in your country.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
