After updating the firmware my TV is flickering and colour distortion it use to not happen in the past at all but after the update it started even after the changing my wifi to 2.4 band the problem remains where as my TV is working fine and no issues in it

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your Chromecast device.

Quick question —what is the LED light status in your Chromecast?

Give these steps a try:

Reboot your Chromecast and your TV.
Make sure it is plugged in correctly into the HDMI port on your TV.
Plug the Chromecast to a different HDMI port on the TV.
Test the Chromecast on another TV screen (If one is available).
Reset your Chromecast. Here's a guide: How to factory reset your Chromecast.

Thanks for posting. How's it going with your Chromecast? Does the issue still persists? If yes, please unplug your Chromecast for 24 hrs and test.
