Duo on Chrome cast with Google TV

I travel a lot and want to make video calls on the TV so my baby girl can see a larger picture, and i can call the whole family.

I have a webcam connected to chromecast with Google TV, but have a few issues.

1) the chromecast uses my google account. Will i be able to call myself on the TV? or can the TV call me?

2)What about meet + cast? cant find too much info on this.

3) Do i need to have the duo app open on the TV for the call to come through?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response. Using Google Duo on Chromecast may or may not work. Also, for your question about Google Meet + cast, you may try to use a computer and cast a Chrome tab to show on your TV screen. Check this support website article to see how.
