Casting from Oculus 2 using the new chromecast with google tv does not work. Old chromecast works.

Am I the only one having a casting problem from oculus 2 headset to tv using chromecast with google tv.

My old chromecast works perfect every time.

I think that a recent update of the software on the chromecast with google tv has caused the problem.

Has anyone had this problem and maybe found the solution as I would appreciate your advice.

Just bought the oculus 2. It casts to my Visio tv but get an error when trying to cast to Sony tv. Hope someone knows how to resolve.

Hi there! I am having the same problem. My Samsung TV is not recognizing the Oculus and the Oculus is not recognizing the TV. It has built-in Chromecast (the TV.) Do think I need to but an external Chromecast device to get it to work? Did you ever solve your issue, or do you just use a different TV to cast Oculus on? This totally sucks.

I am having the same problem casting Oculus2 to the Samsung TV with built-in Chromecast. Did you ever get you issue resolved?
