Phone won't connect to devices

My phone won't connect to any devices - Chromecast, nest speakers, nest hub etc - unless the phone has been restarted.

After a phone restart it will connect to devices once but if the phone locks it won't connect again unless the phone is restarted again.

It seems to be a problem with my previous and current phone (pixel 2xl and pixel 5a) but things work fine on my housemates and friends phones ( Samsung s9, Oppo Reno 4, iPhone 6).

How can I solve this

Hi shadowtam,

Thanks for posting. If the issue is isolated when using your Pixel phones, I suggest you contact Pixel directly so they can further check this on their end. There might be some settings on your phone that need to be configured.
