Chromecast remote turns of Soundbar

When I use my remote's volume down button it shuts down my sound bar. It started about two weeks ago. It doesn't happen with any other button. It doesn't happen with the Samsung remote for the tv. The sound bar's volume is controlled through the tv. It's connected through the tv via HDMI (ARC) connection.

Hi @awretchedboy you may just need to remap your CCwGTV remote and soundbar as it appears something is out of whack. My remote volume rocker turns the soundbar on. I need to use the off button or the speaker remote to power it off if it isn't powered off when I turn the TV off with a CEC device.

Hey there awretchedboy,

I'm really sorry about the late response on this thread, but to remap the buttons on the Chromecast Voice Remote, you would need to use 3rd-party applications. At this point in time, there is no official Google way to do so.
