Google TV remote control Prosonic LDD24300

I would like to use the Google TV remote to power on and control volume of my Prosonic TV. Google TV remote has a very long list of different TV sets supported, but unfortunately Prosonic LDD24300 is not on the list. Does anyone know if one can customise the remote like you can on Apple TV? Or does anyone know if there is another TV on the list that is compatible ?

I have another Prosonic model, and would also like to control og with the Google TV remote.

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! If you haven't already found a solution, I'd be happy to help out, since I know the Chromecast with Google TV is not as good without the remote. What I would recommend is to either use IR, or if you'd like to use HDMI-CEC, find out what other brands use the same TV remote code as Prosonic, and select that brand instead.

Hey there JesperMarino,

What I would do is find a website that has an extensive list of TV remote codes, find out what Prosonic's codes are, for example 0037, then I would search other brands for the same numbers. It's not exactly the most streamlined way, but it has worked for others in the past as a workaround. Some remotes have a lot of different codes, some only a few.

There are a decent number of websites that supply remote codes, such as this one for Google Fiber remotes. However, aside from ones that are strictly Google owned, I cannot share any specific sites, unfortunately.
