Hi there,

Unless you have an internet connection that can be used with an ethernet connection instead of WiFi then no a Chromecast won't be usable for you.

Some users do use them with mobile data WiFi hotspots but this requires extra steps (and possibly an extra mobile device) to configure and will also use lots of mobile data so an unlimited data plan would be recommended.

Sorry that it's not for you.

A Google Chromecast or any Google Home or Google Nest devices will require a good WiFi internet connection to function properly.
