Family room TV may be set up, but we could not communicate with it from your iPad. Make sure that you have enabled local network access in your iPad’s privacy settings. Then try again.

Let's try these steps:

Open the Settings app on your iPad.
Scroll down and tap Privacy.
Tap Local Network.
Find the Google Home app.
Tap the toggle to enable the setting.
