Airplay 2 feature is missing from Chromecast. is there a plan to add this feature to chromecast with google TV which is your most advanced TV product ??

I believe it is a good idea for this feature to be supported on Google TV directly from iphone screen mirroring feature without using third party apps.

Hello, you are not talking to Google here (we are users who are volunteering to help other users).

Google doesn't comment on new features and if they are considering them or not.

But, Airplay is an Apple casting format that competes with Chromecast. I would not expect that Apple would license it to Google since it would cut into their own products' sales.

Unfortunately, Apple already declined to allow screen mirroring. That's why the Google Home app on iPhones doesn't have the feature.
