Volume message permanently displayed

When chrome casting from an iMac into Chromecast, we get this message displayed. I could not find a way to make it disappear. (But otherwise, the casting works nicely.)

"Use a remote to adjust the volume. See Chromecast settings on this TV for more options."

The Chromecast output is set to an Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver which controls the volume and relays the video output to the TV.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting and sorry for the late response.

Quick questions — is this only happening when casting using your iMac? How about when using a mobile device? Please try to remove your receiver under the Remote and Accessories setting in the Google TV and re add it. Rebooting your Chromecast might also help.
