I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient on this! Were you able to configure your Chromecast? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know it can be tricky to get everything set up properly. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

Have you already seen this article on locating your Chromecast's MAC address?
Are the devices connected to the same network band? Either 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
