Chromecast with GoogleTV - Green lines on screen

I have 2 devices and 1 started to get green lines on the TV screen when trying to watch on any app through GoogleTV. The TV is a smarttv so I can still use some of the Apps on the actual tv, but I can't anything with the chromecast without the green lines, that sometime cover the whole screen.

Thanks for posting and I apologize for the late response. Let's check on this further.

Quick question — is this also happening when casting from your phone to your TV?

Give these steps a try:

Try unplugging, then re-plugging the Chromecast into the HDMI port making sure the connector is plugged all the way in.
Try plugging the Chromecast into other HDMI ports on your TV.
Try using the Chromecast with another TV/HDMI display, if possible.
Reboot your Chromecast.
Factory reset your Chromecast.
