Chromecast won’t connect to wifi

Hi there,

I recently changed the name of my wifi in the house and since I have, I’m unable to connect my chromecast to the WiFi? I go to set up, select the new WiFi name and then enter the password but it just “fails to connect”. I’ve reset my chromecast and my router, made sure it’s 2.4ghz enabled etc etc but nothing seems to be working ? Any ideas?

WiFi encryption is WPA2 or WPA3 or other?
