The Nest app on the Chromecast is telling me I'm entering the wrong password. Does anybody know if you have to enter a symbol like a dollar sign?

Thanks for posting and sorry for the late response. Are you trying to set up the Chromecast device? If yes, you must use the Google Home app to do this. Please check this support website article to learn more.
