Home screen keeps refreshing/reloading

The home screen of Google tv keeps reloading. I'm unable to browse any content. It loads, then switches to loading mode (shimmering boxes) then reloads again, endlessly.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that refreshing issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know that would bug me as well! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

What is the firmware version of the Chromecast?
Is the Chromecast powered by a USB port, or a wall outlet?
What color is the LED light on the Chromecast when this is happening?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
